Very safe and fun for all ages. It had things for my daughter 2 years old who absolutely loved it as well as for older kids/adults on the upper floors. A bit pricy, but will absolutely go there again. Well worth the money for a fun vacation day.
I would recommend going to the Magic House. My son is 4yrs and my daughter is 19 months; this was a trip that both of them could enjoy. There were games and activities that they could both do together or on their own. They both stayed busy during our entire visit. When it was time to go we had to practially drag both of them to the door. I had lots of fun too! Not to mention, I learned a few new fun facts along the way. This was a fun and educational trip for the whole family.
IT IS FINE AS IT IS DO NOT CHANGE THE WAY THE MAGIC HOUSE IS OR ELSE.WE CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK BEACAUSE IT IS FUN.
Our pre-school granddaughter has a great time at the magic house. Liked it better when there were special morning sessions just for pre-schoolers, however. Older children can be a little wild and not as watchful of the little ones. It also seems pricey for little ones who cannot spend as much time at each visit.
It's a fun place from toddlers up, my teenagers even had a blast.I've been going to the magic house since I was a girl now I take my 5 children and they all get something out of it.
Don't let the name fool you. No magic here. Excellent play area for children and education with it. All my children have loved it every time i take them. Godd half a day adventure.
We took our 5 and 7 year old girls to this location. We have been to Children's Museums before, but this one took the cake! We were in awe from the time we pulled into the parking lot. The main floor with the small town was the best. The two story house inside the museum was great. Our kids loved the grocery store and the bank. We could spend days playing here! Highly recommended!
The Magic House is a wonderful place to take your children if your from St. Louis or not. There is not a better place for Kids to use their imagination and get hands-on education. It may be crowded at times but that is becuase it is so fun. The children's village is really popular, it is where children can learn about their community and use their imaginations at the same time. They can work in a electric company and shop at the grocery store eat a pizza at a restaurant, go fishing and read a book in the library. The Magic House is a must do in St. Louis.
I have a 14 month old who loves Gymboree and I thought that the Magic House would give us a little variety. What a mistake that was!! Although I can clearly see the pull for older children (5-10) I still wonder if the rates are worth it and why on earth they say that there is a wonderful section just for 12 month olds and up if indeed it was simply boring. There are plenty of tunnels that are unlit (gee, all young children love that....) so those were off. The slides are for children only- meaning an adult can't accompany their child down the slide if they are young (why did they put THAT in the 12 month old and up section!?) The levels of all of the hands on toys- ex: sand toys, water toys, etc. are too high for a 14 month old to reach- she has another good 5 inches to grown before that.... and most of the toys were dirty. I understand it's a hands on environment and you're going to have a little dirt but as I said, I go to Gymboree which is ALL hands on and the place is spotless. With an entrance fee of $7 a person at Magic House I can't see why they can't clean a little more. I was able to find a buy one get one free coupon but at $7 I still don't see the draw. As I said, for an older child it would be great- but for a young child you're really wasting your time, money and energy. Another thing- we got there at opening and the first 15 minutes weren't bad but as soon as the older kids come- by 10am the place was swarming with kids who were pushing and running past my daughter. The spaces don't limit older children from pushing past the younger ones. Its not safe at all. So there you have it! If you're looking for a fun place to go with your toddler I give it ONE star. Try Gymboree's open gym; you'll be much happier!!!
this is a great place for the family and kids its fun and also a learning experience!!! this is a fun experience for everyone of all different ages not only the littler kids
