I did visit there b4 but comin there again last time was still the rite choice of my ^^ . In fact , QVB luks so elegant n unique outside ( I think u know de reason ) ... first of all , I really like de way they decorate de building for dis Xmas time , makin it so significant out of the others ... ( n de reason I like de decorating 'cuz I love Xmas so much ) . Secondly , de way they ogranise all de shops there is very clever , it luks like the ones in the HARRY POTTER series , makin our shopping day more exciting n interesting with a very huge variety of things ... last but not least is the food n drink shop there ... it's so comfortable when having a meal there , u can see ppl shopin around happily . Just those particular features , QVB's considered as a very unique building in the city

Yes, it's a mall, and it's like putting Macy's in NYC on your tourist itinerary. I forgot how or why we ended up at the QVB in the first place. I really think we were looking for a phone, but we ended up wandering through the place. The building is just beautiful! All the detail is amazing. I believe on the third floor is a jade carraige and a statue of, well I forget. It would make sense that it is of Queen Victoria, wouldn't it? There is also an envelope with a letter in it from Queen Elizabeth II. It was written in 1985 or 1986. It says that on a pleasant summer day in 2085 (2086?) the people of Australia should open it and read it. I was there right before Christmas so there was a tree on the main floor that went all the way up to the dome. Near by was a beautiful black iron sprial staircase that looked like it led to somewhere probably only used by maintanence. Don't go because you need the Macy's/Harrod's/Oh my god it's shopping experience. Go to just look at the detail and architecture of this building. Don't forget though to look at it from the outside as well. The dome is gorgeous when lit up at night. I can't believe this building was almost torn down. (Oh, I only put the value at three because we didn't really do any shopping so I can't judge the stores. If however, you're only there to look at the building, it's free so that's a good value.) The interior is actually at the very beginning of one of the ads for that foam mattress. It goes by very quickly. If it's not the QVB, then there's another building out there with the same interior.
