Overview

Drag yourself away from the surf to experience this stunning cliff walk. Beginning at the Southern end of Bondi Beach, follow the steep path upwards and along the cliffs. The spectacular coastline stretches four kilometers (2.5 miles) in an easy walk (there are some steps) following the shoreline and giving some breathtaking ocean views. The concrete pathway leads first to Tamarama Beach, and then onto Bronte Beach. If you are really keen, you can continue on past Waverley Cemetery, to Clovelly and Coogee, popular family beaches. Or simply catch a 380 bus back to the city.

My girlfriend and I were in Bondi Beach for three days in mid December 2007. We stumbled upon the walk from Bondi to Bronte our first full day in Bondi and were truly amazed and the spectacular scenery on the walk. The sea-carved sandstone walls were beautiful. I’ll have wonderful memories of our walk that day for the rest of my life.

This is a breathtaking beach walk, and recommended by most tourist books. It is worth every moment!! There are some spots that directly overlook the ocean, but the views as you round the corner, seeing glimpses of each new beach, are just amazing. You can literally choose which beach you would like to visit, all from a bird's eye view! Lovely!
