Forget itby Yahoo | 2007-07-10 12:23:47 |

The hotel is located in a business district with no attractions whatsoever, about 30 min. walk from the nearest underground station. Our room faced a noisy street junction. More noise came from the near domestic airport. There are lots of better and cheaper hotels in Taipei! Just ask at the airport.

Good for short business tripsby Yahoo | 2007-06-30 13:52:18 |

Good hotel for short business trips, staffs are very helpful even though they don’t know that much of English they are trying their best. Location is situated centrally that can be accessible easily from Taiwan Trade Center. Hotel is situated 2 mints walk from the MTR Station, and 15 mints walk to ‘Ali-Babas’ Indian Kitchen- one of the Good Indian Restaurant with Halal foods for Muslim visitors. Hotel has the Wired Internet connection with good speed, and satellite TV with 2 or 3 English Channels (including BBC)

Clean, friendly, great valueby Yahoo | 2007-02-13 08:19:42 |

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and were very impressed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good if you're comfortable using buses and taxis. The best part of the deal is the free breakfast buffet, which included too many items to list - mostly Asian fare but enough western fare to make anyone happy. (There's also a 7-11 on premises and a McDonalds next door.) We paid about US$60/night, which is a true bargain for a hotel in a major city. We visit Taiwan often and this will be our Taipei "hq" from now on.

Good tourist hotel, good locationby Yahoo | 2006-09-30 04:31:09 |

We stayed at the Leofoo for 8 days in 2005 while on tour in Taiwan. Our room was a little small but clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was very professional. Not quite a 5 star but who needs it if you are using the rooms only for sleeping. The breakfast buffet (Asian and continental choices) was excellent. And don't miss the evening buffet,,, very well done. But you must also spend a little time outside of the hotel. There are many places to eat and tour nearby. The hotel staff will help you out planning tours around the island. Also, get familiar with the public transp[ortation. It will take you everywhere cheap, safely and comfortably (all announcements and signs are in Chinese and English). Taiwan is very civilized and friendly,,, and a great place to eat.

i want to visit and experience itby Yahoo | 2005-05-30 08:20:49 |

i am a travel agent here in the philippines. actually, i saw it thru the net only and i'm very facinated with the amenities and facilities you render. i always recommend it to my clients whenever they went taipei. My client has a good response. perhaps the one i dislike is that... i never had a chance of going there due to taiwan visa.
