Overview

Long before many teahouses packed into Mao Kung, YauYueh Tea House was one of the few places where you could have a quiet tea time. Now the Mao Kung area is fully packed with teahouses but YauYueh is still the most popular. Although it is situated right beside the main road, noise is kept to a minimum by careful design. The tea house is surrounded by interesting tea plants and bamboo furniture giving a feeling of relaxation and a carefree atmosphere. Open all night on weekends, it can be a good place to unwind after a hard night out.
