Tallinn Town Hall is the main part of Tallinn's historical background. The current Town Hall building, located south of Raekoja Square, dates back to 1404. It resembles a great piece of Gothic architecture with gargoyles on the parapets, remarkable windows, portals and an octagonal tower. The interior is truly one not to miss. Concerts take place here occasionally. Visiting arrangements in advance are advised. Check website for hours of operation.
