Overview
Reuven Rubin is perhaps Israel's most famous painter. His colorful images have become icons of “Eretz Yisrael” (the land of Israel), as the country was referred to in the early the days of Jewish settlement. Utilizing his former home, the lower floor is devoted to his paintings, organized chronologically, with explanatory information. Upstairs are documentary materials on the painter and life in the country in his day, which includes a film in English. The museum shop sells reproductions along with other souvenirs. Admission to the museum USD4.40.Open Hours

Reuven's Rubin's former home- beautiful house in the heart of Tel Aviv A must for tourists who are there to experience israeli culture!!! I would recommend to anyone who is interested in Jewish/Israeli art and history
We went to the Rubin Museum and the Bialik home down the street on the same day. We have always been great fans of the art and the artist but through the visit we got a unique taste at what Tel Aviv was like "back in the day" and we now have a whole new appreciation for it. We bought all of our friends gifts at the shop, it was our best day in Tel Aviv because we felt like locals, but we understood what was going on. It was tailored for us. A Must!
this museum is the most beautiful jewel of tel aviv
