Overview

This is the paved beachside walkway which provides a 2km path between Tel Aviv and Jaffa. It is decorated with a swirly design that can be seen just before you land, when you fly into the Ben Gurion airport. On weekends and hot days, buskers, portrait artists and jewellery sellers tempt the passing crowds to part with their shekels. During off peak hours and winter, the quieter Tayelet is a nice place for strolling and jogging. During summer nights, it is thick with crowds and even at 3a it still bustles like rush hour.
