Just one street over from this trendy strip is the Ontario College of Art and Design. When young artists graduated and were desperate for cash, they would bring their treasures here to sell. Soon small shops stuffed with unique items began popping up on Queen Street West. Today, you can still find unusual gifts from cool clothing to antique comics either in the stores or from one of the many friendly street vendors. It's also a hot spot for restaurants and bars such as the Epicure Cafe, the Rivoli and the Queen Mother Cafe.
Well i live just off of queen street, In the central mecca of the shopping area, So i walk home every day from school on queen and its really cool seeing all the crazy people the neighborhood attracks. when i lived around the college little italy area id alway love to go down to queen to shop
I loved my visit to Toronto and the shopping experience on Queen St. West was amazing. So many one-of-a-kind shops with something for everyone and every budget. Great cafes and restaurants with food I didn't even know existed. Venture past Bathurst St. and you'll find unique art & design shops. I was inspired with every step! Fantastic city.
I loved the neverending supply of unique shops. This isn't your everyday kind of mall shopping. You just walk on and on and go into whatever shop strikes your fancy. One of a kind items abound in this mecca of distinct stores. Wear your walking shoes because you won't know where to stop! You could easily enjoy a full day of just shopping on Queen St. West.
Great shopping!! An awesome place for summer days, walk up and down the streets of shops and restaurants!! Only downside is that some things are overpriced. I usually go there just to have fun though.
