Overview

Set on about five square miles in the heart of South Tulsa, LaFortune Park is a favorite outdoor spot for many Tulsans. Besides wooded picnic and playground areas, the park contains a golf course, baseball diamonds and batting cages, a community center, a public swimming pool, a walking trail and a par course. Certain picnic areas are available to reserve for parties. Come and get a workout, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. There is something recreational here for just about everyone. The main entrance is on South Yale Avenue between East 61st Street and East 51st Street.

    i love how many playgrounds it had. i went just the other day for a party and it was very entertaining for the kids. there was alot to do.

    I remember loving this place as a kid. The separated playgrounds made it feel like we got to visit five parks in one! There was even an outdoor workout area for my parents. During the hot summer months, there is always a vendor or two selling cold drinks or even Italian ices. The only bad thing was the long drive to it, since it is not in a residential area, traffic can be bad during rush hour. It was still always worth the trip. Definitely a place to make some family memories.

    We love the swimming lessons offered, great low cost, and high quality. You have to get on the list early though.
