Very bad experienceby Yahoo | 2005-11-20 17:40:15 |

I was astonished when I check in to see how poor the condition of the hotel was. - decoration of the room had not been redone for 30 years - faucet leaking and suspicious toilets in the bathroom - light bulbs flickering - problem with the heating system (impoissible to take the room temperature below 28 degrees celcius depsite all efforts) - extremely noisy It was extremely disappointing. Two sugestions if you go to Turin, you can try two things: * if you want a good hotel, try the Meridien Art & Tech. It is a bit expensive, but really excellent and beautiful * if you want something cheap, go for the Holiday Inn next door to the Turin Palace. It bears a less pretentious name than the Turin Palace, but it is actually far better.

It is a fantastic hotel in the heart of a great city. Turin a place of food, wine, love and great history is complemented by this hotel.

We stumbled into this hotel after a long car trip. We liked it so much, we stayed a couple of days extra. The hotel staff was warm and freindly. This is a business hotel in the middle of a large industrial city, so you have to get past that. Inside, the hotel is bueatiful and the rooms well appointed, though slightly dated. If you are going to spend time in Torino, its a great spot.

Great Hotel-beautiful, old world, classy. Good Location-next to the main Train Station.Only down side is that there is a lot of pick-pocketing at the train station, so watch out.
