Overview

An understated establishment, this 20-year-old West End cafe is a long time favourite of sophisticated diners. Simple wood furniture in a room painted in soft warm brown tones creates a casual and relaxed ambience. The Paris-style cafe celebrates Gallic tradition. The poulet roti aux herbes , a half chicken slowly roasted with fresh herbs in a peppercorn sauce, is a tasty example. The cuisine is dominated by local seasonal ingredients, and a decadent dessert trolley and local and imported wines list complete the meal.

HI Just back from Vancouvor and of course we stopped in at Cafe de Paris all was the same very good food not so good wine with a price tag that threw me for a loop house white wine haft a craft $33.00 and we were bumb enought to have two, we did not know this till the end of the meal and the sticker shock happened $225.00 for duck breast and wine we could not beleive it. Well the old owner is gone and the new one is going to make all his money in a month or two I guess......... Like I said good food but my Gawd we could of ate in Paris France for that Good luck

I JUST WANTED TO SAY WE ATE AT THE CAFE DE PARIS ON A TRIP TO VANCOUVER AND WE ARE GOING AGAIN IN OCTOBER AND TO MAKE THIS SIMPLE AND SORT THE PLACE IS GREAT JUST GREAT AND THE OWNER IS A WONDERFUL CLOWN HE HAD US LAUGHING SO HARD. OH TRY THE ONION SOUP BEST I HAVE EVER HAD..........

Duplicates my most memorable French Bistro Dining experiences from vacations in France. Great staff and service. I live in Seattle and was most pleasantly surprised to find Cafe de Paris. Every meal and visit has been wonderful.
