Overview
Attractions abound in this massive downtown park, a veritable rain forest within a metropolis. To name just a few of the activities and attractions: the Children's Farmyard, Miniature Railway, tennis courts, beaches, children's water park, heated ocean side swimming pool, the Theater Under the Stars, the Vancouver Aquarium and the 10.5-km perimeter Seawall, which is packed with joggers, walkers and rollerbladers. Once a military reserve, the park became one of the city's premier attractions by action of the city's first council.Open Hours

I love the place! In the summer winter spring or fall. It is a place I take my cousins, kids, parents everyone to each year. And well of course when we come back a little treat from the ice cream place.
The atmosphere the location the jogging trails ,and walk ways ,very nice views. The eateries in the park were great friendly staff great food and prices.
I come to vancouver once a year summer time I think that it is a great place people are nice friendly stanly park is worth the money my daughter loves the water park and vancouver aqariam
This park is so beautiful. The Aquarium is great. Take the shuttle around the park it's a great way to see what you really want to see. They let you get back on after you see what you want to and then move on to the next site. The totem poles aren't the greatest, there's only about 6 of them. The seawall is nice to walk around. Go you'll love it.
This is in many ways like central park with a view. A great place to relax when in Vancouver. If this is your first time, I suggest taking the free shuttle and doing the full round, then decide on a spot to get off the shuttle. I recommend taking the Ravine trail to Beaver lake and then continue the trail into the woods. It's a very nice walk in the woods and in the summer it's cool and nice. The park is very close to downtown and you can either walk there or take the 19 buss.
Last year my husband & I visited Aquarium in Vancouver which is situated in Stanley Park and we were thrilled with it, unfortunately we did not have enought time, cause we were working on the cruise ship and we were in port just for a few hours, but we promised ourselves we will go to Vancouver one more time and visit the whole Stanley Park.
I visited Stanley Park a number of times some years ago and fell in love with it. A recent visit to Vancouver took me back to Stanley Park and I was surprised and saddened to see the damage done by a windstorm earlier in the winter. I still enjoyed the park in spite of the many fallen trees. There is so much to do in Stanley Park including walking on the seawall, hiking on numerous trails, enjoying the beaches, lawn bowling, golfing, visiting an aquarium, and enjoying good restaurants. Most special is the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the plants, trees, and scenery that make this the most wonderful spot.
I loved how everyone around made you feel like it was home away from home. The view was unforgetful and so was the experience. The best time to go would be in the summer time when everything is in full blossom.
We liked the views on a clear day. Seems like a romantic place at the lookout point, but to pay for parking is a bummer everywhere you go!
Stanley park is lovely. very recommendable to rent a bicycle for a day and bike around and inside the park. it's fabulous! even the aquarium experience was great
