Overview

Protected from the winds by rocks and the surrounding buildings, this beach is a favourite spot for families, especially those with young children. Weaker swimmers can often enter the sea here, thanks to the calmer waters and weaker currents. Built in 1930, the beach was named after the ponds where sea salt was dried and then collected in the 19th century.
