Your escape from a concrete-filled city life awaits! About 1800 tons of sand specially hauled in creates over 21,000 square feet of beach in the heart of Vienna. Impressively detailed 27 foot high sculptures of Europe's most famous attractions, from the Eiffel Tower to the Acropolis are displayed in the sculpture park. Sports junkies get their fix at the beach volleyball/soccer court, while the less energized should stretch out under a palm tree on a cushy bed, cuddle up in a wicker cubby or tip back in a beach chair. Fourteen different bars and food stalls provide plenty of nourishment.
