Overview

Contrary to its name, this is a lively bar and dancing spot, which only comes to life after 9pm when a resident live band belts out many numbers. These vary from local and Thai rock tunes to familiar Western ballads from the 1960s upwards. Every 15 minutes the band breaks and "poppy, clubby" music hits the ear while those with twinkle toes hit the floor. Livelier on weekends, it is a good place to meet the locals and expatriates alike or to watch the local girls use their charm.
