Overview

State of the Union started out as a Russian-themed restaurant; vodka is still the most popular drink and a bust of Lenin remains. But it has transformed itself into a nightclub with a diverse playbill every night of the week. Crowds flock here to enjoy music and dancing. Hip-hop dominates, but look for acid jazz, jungle, old school and house music as well. Bands often perform live, though most nights a DJ is in charge of the action.
