On weekends, be sure to come early. The tables are full by 9p. Patrons enjoy the pub fare served here, particularly the curried French fries.

Fado has the best pint of Guinness in the DC area. Good food too. My only complaint is that it is not a good place to watch sports games. The lay-out of the pub (which is very homely normally) is not conducive to watching games. However, it doesn't stop people from going down there as the place is packed for rugby and soccer games. The atmosphere on the day of a big game is excellent
