Overview
Seeing the nation's capital by bike is not only healthy, but it also allows visitors to get a closer view of DC. This guided bicycle tour takes in many of Washington's magnificent monuments and landmarks; everything from the White House and Washington Monument to the to the Freer Gallery and Rock Creek Park. The standard tour covers about eight miles in three hours. Most of the tour is on paved paths and gravel trails. The company also rents bikes, wheelchairs and scooters.the best tour of dc!Best way to see DC
we recently toured with bike the sites-wonderful! my husband and 9yr. old twins and I took the capital sites tour. our guide was very competent and knowledgable. he took the time to let us take our photos- i took a lot of great pics. this has to be the best way to see all the monuments and buildings in dc. several people we passed commented that they wished they were on bikes instead of walking as everything is so far apart. i would highly recommend this tour - it is well worth the price!
The address is wrong and it took a little to find them. It was well worth it. The web site is the same and the phone is now 202-842-BIKE.Don't leave Washington with out going on one of their tours.
