Truly Fascinating Placeby Yahoo | 2008-02-20 19:10:23 |

The attention to detail in the displays was amazing and really lifelike. Very educational about the local peoples, history and geography. Very reasonably priced. Attached planetarium excellent for astronomy lovers.

Great exhibitsby Yahoo | 2007-08-17 20:00:47 |

The galleries were awesome and the overall theme of the museum (a travel through different places and times in Manitoba) was well planned and layed out. A museum worthy of any major city.

BORING!by Yahoo | 2007-07-28 07:13:23 |

Was in Winnipeg for a family funeral, decided to pop in to the musuem to take a look. Rude staff, and it wasn't at all interesting. I feel for the people who live in Winnipeg ... boring place stuck in the middle of nowhere.

A real must-see in Winnipeg. Learn about the fascinating history behind the city and the province, with top quality recreations of historical places and the Manitoba country-side. You'll love the Onesuch replica. And this is not the only thing to see or do in the Museum. The Science Gallery is perfect for children, but will also fascinate grown-ups. With at least two different shows, the Planetarium is a place to return to, even on the same day. They say the Christmas show even draws many of the locals back year after year. The museum is situated downtown, right next to the Opera House, across the street from city hall, and within walking distance of most of the other top attractions, such as The Forks, the Railway Museum, Goldeyes indy baseball, and great places to shop on Portage Rd, and Main St.

I have been going here since I was little and they just keep on improving. The staff are very nice. The place is very clean. And there is so much to see.

family funby Yahoo | 2006-09-07 16:44:19 |

My family has a membership even though we're from the States - we come every time we're in Winnipeg. The exhibits are intersting and the interactive Science museum downstairs is a hit with kids.
