I enjoyed the guided tour through the mint, seeing how all of the coins are made, i cant remember how much it was, but it is worth your time to check it out.

i loved it allit was so funand cool i think that everon e should go fun and it was not to much money to get in i think it is the world coolest place

Entry into the botique area was very impressive providing a detailed outlook of coins and other mint related items for sale. The gold bar was very impressive and as well the protective services officer was very professional and answered multiple questions. The pool and green area added to the beauty of the tour area. There are several computerized information stations as well in the botique area that provide amazing trivia. The Tour guides were very professional in providing a great tour of the manufacturing plant. Although the tour was on the second floor through glass,there is an obvious security reason that only authorized personel are allowed in the work area. Definitely recommended.

Wow, what a great experience!If you haven't been in a couple years, a lot has changed. The tour is very interesting and guides extremely knowledgeable. Also, new interactive displays downstairs, a gold bar worth $350 000 and a 5 minute movie make this attraction one to visit. Although some products are pricey, they are beautiful and worth it to look at!

This is a pretty decent attraction, but only if you have some time to kill. If you like to watch the people at work and the machines used to mint coins, you'll have a great time, even though there's not a lot of action going on. I myself was more impressed by the giftshop. I stopped collecting coins 11 years ago, and I only wish I'd known a shop like that one then. Anyway, this is the mint where the circulation coins for all of Canada, and many other countries, are struck. If you wish to see how collector quality coins are minted, you should visit the mint in Ottawa. The mint is located on the outskirts of town, on Lagimodiere Blvd., so you will need a car to get therem, and I can't really think of any other good attractions in the immediate surroundings.

I enjoyed the tour of the Mint. It took about 40 minutes and the tour guide was very animated and knowledgeable. Although you have to view the production through second-story windows, you do get a good understanding of the process. There is also a very nice store that offers a variety of coins and products for sale.

Well...when i went we saw the coins(after looking at 20 coins it gets boring)Then they took us up stairs and we watched a movie about the two mints and it was also pretty boring....then we threw pennies in a fountain!(it was sooooo boring!!!!)
