Overview

Porta is a large underground shopping mall that covers over 21,000 square meters and houses more than 110 specialty shops and a variety of restaurants and fast food outlets. Many of the shops here are dedicated to Japan's youth culture and specialize in fashion goods, but not all of them. There is also a branch of the famous Kyukyodo, a shop that was founded in the Edo Era in 1663 and specializes in Japanese paper products, or washi. Another interesting shop is the Ceno Zoic, a shop that sells imported items for the kitchen, everything from tableware to furniture. Just above Porta you will find the main Yokohama bus terminal. Adjacent to the bus terminal there is parking lot with space for over 500 cars.
